The Catholic Sabha Unit of St John the Evangelist Church, Shankerpura, Organized “ Prathiba Puraskar “ Programme to the Distinction Holders here on 29.09.2017. Programme Began with Prayer by Catholic Sabha Members. Mrs. Flavia Menezes Welcomed the Gathering, Mr Rayan Mathias, (Lecturer of Milagres College, Kallianpura) chief Guest of the Programme, in his speech he explained about various scholarships, he stressed to apply for scholarships to achieve higher goals, Rev Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves the parish priest of pangla parish in his presidential speech he invited beneficiaries to practice values of humanity and service. On this occasion Sr winny D’Souza, Head mistress of St johns Academy, (Primary) School, Shankerpura Honored for being awarded as the udupi district level “ Adarsha Shikshaki “. Mrs Leena D’Mello Also felicitated being conferred PHD in the field of Medicine. Mr Mark Vaz, Vice president of parish Council, Secretary Mrs Clara Mendonca, Mrs Veena D’Souza, Secretary of catholic sabha, Pangla Unit were present on the dais. The Whole Programme was compeered by Mrs Alice Rodrigues, Mrs treeza Machado Introduced the Chief Guest and Mrs. Veena D’Souza Proposed vote of thanks.
