St John the Evangelist Church, Shankerpura, organized two days “ Jeevan Amruth” camp for 8th std children Inauguration ceremony was held On 11.10.2017 at 9.30.am, Pangla Parish Priest Rev Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves Inaugurated the camp by Lighting the Lamp, Chief Guest Mr Mark Vaz ( Vice president Pangla Parish Council, Mrs Simmy D’Souza, Chairman of 18 commissions, Sr. Winny D’Souza were present on the dais.
110 students from 10 parishes of shirva deanary participated.
Resources persons were Fr Arthur Periera who gave a talk on Eucharist and Liturgy. Mrs Saritha Lewis spoke about Skills for studies. Fr Chethan Lobo dealt with Critical Analysis of Media. Fr Roy lobo gave an analysis on the topic Who Am I. Fr Stephen Lewis spoke about Belonging to Family. Ms Vinet Lobo dealt with Understanding my Body Part I.
Valedictory Programme was presideds over by V Rev. Fr Stany Tauro, Dean of Shirva deanery. He distributed certificates to the participants, also gave away the prizes to the winners who won in various competitions. the Entire event was organised by Fr Royson Fernandes, asst parish priest of pangla parish.
