The Vespers were held on the 27th of December, 2016. At first there was a procession to Shankarapura area wherein the Chariot bearing the statue of St John the Evangelist was blessed by Rev. Fr Reginald Pinto, ( Convinar, Swa sahaya Groups, Udupi Diocese) . Then the Chariot was carried back to the Church in the procession. At 7:00 pm there was the Liturgy of the Word. Rev. Fr Regi preached a homily on the effectiveness of Word of God in our life.
