The Festivity began with honouring the donors with candles. The festive mass was celebrated by Rev Dr Lawrence D’Souza, He Preached on Mar6y’s Role in the life of Jesus. The Scapulars and sweets were distributed to the parishioners after the mass.
A cultural programme named “ MORIYE SANGHI EK SAANZ “ was staged at 6.00.p.m. It began with prayer song led by the parish choir. The ICYM president welcomed the Gathering. The distinction students were felicitated. Mr oliver d’sa, udupi diocesan ICYM PRO and Mrs Alice Rodrigues Diocesan Catholic Sabha Secretary, Rayan Fernandes the Diocesan YCS Treasurer were honored. Mrs Juliet Veera D’Souza was honored for becoming Katapadi Grama Panchayath President and Mr Vincent Rodrigues was felicitated for being elected as panchayath member.
The Message was given by Fr Vincent Coelho, followed by various cultural programmes by different parish associations. The programme concluded with Vote of thanks by YCS President. All appreciated and enjoyed the days activities.
