Nithyadhar Mai Feast
The feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Succor (Nityadhar Mai) was celebrated on Sunday 17th July 2016. The day began with a Holy Eucharistic Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Joshwin D’Souza (Asst. Parish Priest, St Joseph’s Church, Belman) concelebrated with Rev. Fr. Leslie D’Souza (Parish Priest, St. John’s church,Pangla), Fr. Vincent Coello (Principal, st john’s PU College) and Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mendonca.
In his brief homily, Fr. Joshwin beautifully narrated how we need to lift others by helping each other especially the downtrodden. He said that our basic duty is to help others especially those are in need and service should be our moto of our life. At the end of the day Holy Mass scapulars were distributed to the faithful.
After the Eucharistic Mass three new buses for students of St. John’s Academy were blessed by Fr. Leslie D’Souza.
