The Easter Vigil Service began at 7.00pm with the blessing of new fire by Rev.Fr.Leslie C. D\\\\\\\'Souza( Parish Priest ) Along with Rev.Fr.Vincent Coelho (Principal, St. John\\\\\\\'s P U College). Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mendonca ( Counseling Centre, Bajjodi). First the fire was blessed and Fr Leslie C. D\\\\\\\'Souza lighted the candle and took it to the Alter as the congregation lighted their individual candles. This was followed by readings from the Old Testament, new testament and Gospel. Rev. Fr. Leslie C. D\\\\\\\'Souza was the main celebrant of the Easter Mass, Fr. Leslie C. D\\\\\\\'Souza delivered the sermon in which he gave the message of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. Following the Easter Mass, The Parish Priest thanked the parishioners for their support during the Holy Week and wished all a Happy Easter.
