In the evening Bishop met the members of the Parish Pastoral Council at the community hall and heard the reports of 20 commissions. He appreciated the commissions' reports. During the morning Holy Eucharist on Sunday, May 22nd, 76 parish youth received the sacrament of Confirmation. In his sermon, the Bishop emphasized the importance of family prayer. He claims that being conscious of God's presence in our families can assist us in having a good family life. He met the office bearers of numerous parish organizations on the same day. On Monday, the Bishop paid visits to each of the five educational institutions, took part in their assemblies and the stage performances, and encouraged students and the staff. The students with Distinctions were also greeted. The Bishop returned to the Bishop's House in the evening after a three-day official Pastoral Visit.
Bishop Gerald had a lot of appreciation for the parish clergy and parishioners for organizing the pastoral visit well. The Sunday liturgy, Congregational singing, people participation, prayerful atmosphere, and sense of devotion were considered good. All the Parish Associations are functioning well. The work done by the women association is really praiseworthy. The Church, Presbytery, School, Hall, Cemetery, and its surrounding are kept
neat and clean. Parish Registers, records, books, and files are maintained up-to-date and they are in the safe custody of the Parish Priest. Property records have been set right. All educational institutions are doing well. Both S.S.L.C. and P.U.C results are good. The Correspondent takes a keen interest in the all-around development of these schools. Bishop congratulated the Parishioner for their full support in all the activities of the Parish and the Parish Priest for his able Pastoral leadership.
