Palm Sunday
Pangla parish celebrated Palm Sunday on March 20, thus beginning the period of Holy week which will conclude on Easter, the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord. The main Celebrant of the mass was Rev. Fr Vincent Coelho. It began in the school grounds by blessing and distribution of the palms. thereafter the faithful went in a procession to the church with the palms in their hands singing Hosanna to Jesus our Lord. Deacon Joswin Praveen Dsouza preached the word of god. The theme was that Palm Sunday reminds us that everyone has both the day of glory and the day of gloom or suffering. Jesus entered Jerusalem in glory knowing that he would meet with a violent death on a cross. But he was obedient to God’s will. As his followers we too are called to accept both glory and suffering in our life as Christ did. The mass was concluded at 8.15 am
