Marriage Enrichment Programme at pangla parish
Family Commission of our Parish Organized Marriage Enrichment programme “ Kutma Jivitacher Ek Atov” for the married couples on 22nd October 2017
Inaugural programme was presided over by Rev. fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, the parish priest of st john the evangelist church, shankerpura, elderly couple of the parish mr Benedict & Mrs Carmine Martis Inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp, in the presidential address the parish priest congratulated the participants for having realized the importance of family life and making it a point to attend the programme. “There is no church without good families, family shapes the entire personality of its members, therefor one need to strive hard to make his/her family a place of love and solidarity” he added.
Resource person rev fr chethan lobo, spiritual director of diocese family commission gave certain types to enrich the marital bond and make families truly united. Another resource person Mr. Leslie Aroza, director of diocesan family commission spoke on how to improve relationship between parents and children.
Fr. Royason Fernandes the asst. parish priest of pangla parish, Rev Fr. Vincent Coelho, Principal, St. Johns PU college, Shankerpura, Mr Mark Vaz, Vice president parish council, Mrs Clara Mendonca, Secretary Parish council, Mrs. Simmy D’Souza coordinator 18 commissions were present on the dias.
Mrs Alice Rodrigues compeered the programme, Mrs Emilia d’souza, member of family commission, welcomed the gathering, Mrs Agnes D’sa, Coordinator of family commission proposed vote of thanks, 220 people benefited from this programme
