Felicitation to Outstanding Students and Teachers at Pangla Parish
The Catholic Sabha of Pangla Parish had organised the Felicitation Programme to the 29 Outstanding Students Who had scored Distinction marks in the final Examinations of SSLC, P.U.C and Graduation, The Joy of the Celebration was enhanced by Felicitating 39 Selfless Serving Teachers In View Of Teachers Day On 31st August at Parish community Hall.
Rev. Fr. Vincent Coehlo, The Principal of St John’s P.U College Presided Over the Programme. Mr. John Lobo, in his Introductory Address expressed the importance of Honouring the Outstanding Students and Committed Teachers. Fr. Vincent Coelho felicitated the students and teachers. In his presidential Address he Appreciated Teachers and students for their hardwork and invited all Pangalites to bloom in Various areas of our Society. The chief Guest Mr. John. P. Mendonca highlighted the role of teachers and students in the Society.
The retired teacher Mrs. Irine Noronha who had served 36 years as a teacher was felicitated on this auspicious Occasion, Nikitha gaga on behalf of felicitated Students and Clara Mendonca on behalf of felicitated Teachers expressed their sentiments of gratitude.
The President of Catholic Sabha, Mrs. Juliet D’souza Welcome the gathering Secretary Mrs. Anitha D’souza rendered vote of thanks, Bro Rolwin fernandes invoked God’s Blessings, Mrs Rejina Mendonca introduced the guest of honour, Mrs Alice Rodrigues the co-secretary of central committee of catholic sabha read out the names of outstanding students, The parish council vice president mr Mark Vaz and secretary Mrs Simmy D’Souza were present for the programme, mrs flavia menezes compeered the programme.
The joy of the celebration was witnessed by the parents of the students, the felicitation programme rejuvenated the spirit of outstanding students and committed teachers.
