On the occasion of Good Friday, St John the Evangelist Church Pangala, Shankerpura organized the Way of the Cross on 2nd April, 2021 at 10 a.m. Large number of devotees of the parish took part in the Way of the Cross which depicted the events surrounding the crucifixion of Christ. The way of the Cross includes 14 various events that centre around the passion and the death of Jesus. The faithful of the parish took part in this ceremony with great devotion and faith. During the Way of the Cross reflective narration was read out. Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves, the parish Priest, Fr Roshan Dcunha asst Parish priest and Fr Rayan Dsouza were Conducted the entire ceremony. Singing of passion hymns by the Choir made the event meaningful. An hour long devotion helped the devotees to enrich themselves with spiritual nourishment.
